Grief and the Subconscious
This article explores a subject rarely explored or discussed in main stream media; the profound impact of the subconscious on the intensity and duration of grief. The residue of our past disappointments, guilt, fears, and other wounds is resting comfortably in our subconscious mind, and when we experience a significant emotional loss, this residue is nudged into action to complicate and intensify the grief we are presntly experiencing. The article also touches on the idea that each of us,in some way, passes on our wounds to our children.
